Dr. Joseph Ferguson graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1984. He was lured to the “beautiful White Lake area” by a job posting in Ann Arbor and made the easy decision to stay permanently. Through his first ten years, Dr. Joe practiced with Dr. Spencer Weersing, who he describes as “the greatest partner and mentor I could have had in my early dental career”. For the next 24 years Dr. Joe was the sole dentist at the practice.

He recently welcomed his two sons Dr. Michael Ferguson and Dr. Matthew Ferguson to the practice. Joseph Ferguson, DDS is constantly continuing his education and staying current by taking CE courses online and in classrooms. He is affiliated with the following professional organizations: the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Muskegon District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the United States Dental Institute. Dr. Joe and his wife have two sons and two daughters-in-law. When he is not in the office Dr. Joe can be found biking, boating, traveling, skiing, and watching his favorite sports teams. Most of all he enjoys spending time with family.
